A private plane goes down in the backyard of a home in Compton, Wednesday afternoon.
For the second time in two months a plane has gone down at or near Compton-Woodley Airport. A banner-towing plane crashed and burned in August, killing the pilot and severely injuring a ground worker. Wednesday, a plane lost power on take off and crashed into the backyard of a home.
Paul told Fox 11 News the pilot was trying to make Central Avenue just a few yards away when it crashed. Tom Perumean, KABC NEWS.
