A staggering feat completed by the end of the day as a terrorist threat sparks the search of every campus, facility and building in the LA Unified School District.
The scope of the search was incredible:
“LAPD, LA County Sheriff’s, California Highway Patrol and 13 other agencies assisted this school district to ensure that over fifteen hundred thirty one sites had a walk through today which encompassed about twenty seven hundred eighty officers and deputies throughout this region.”
The Nations second largest school district closed tight after a number of school board members received emailed threats Monday night. Schools will reopen today with stepped up uniform presence provided by LAPD. Tom Perumean, KABC NEWS.
