
The wave of dramatic new urban landscapes that have transformed the Chinese cities of Beijing and Shanghai is coming to Los Angeles. The Los Angeles Times reports the nexus of this new development is in the downtown area, where. since 2014, Chinese developers have been involved in at least seven of 18 land deals amounting to about $19 million. That’s according to real estate firm Transwestern. Some Chinese developers in L.A. are expecting Chinese buyers to constitute up to 40 percent of their clients.
