The Supreme Court is likely to head in a solidly conservative direction with the election of Donald Trump. With Republicans maintaining control of the Senate, Trump will be able to nominate and have confirmed a replacement for deceased Justice Antonin Scalia. With Justices Breyer, Ginsburg and Kennedy getting up there in years, Trump could very well end up assuring the high court’s conservative majority for a generation.
