President-Elect Donald Trump’s proposal to build a wall separating Mexico from the United States is welcome news for Shawn Moran, the San Diego-based vice president of the National Border Council, the union that represents border patrol agents. He tells the “Los Angeles Times” the wall serve as a “vital tool” for enforcement. In 2015, San Diego agents had to make more than 550 repairs to the fences along 60 miles of the border that they patrol. So, whatever Trump has in mind for building something more secure, he’s all for it.
