The mother of two young children was shot and killed and her husband was wounded in a car-to-car shooting as the family drove through South Los Angles early this morning, The Los Angeles Police Department says the shooting occurred just after midnight in the 83-hundred block of South Central Avenue. The woman was in the front seat and her husband was driving. Both were in their 20s. In the back were their kids – ages 5 and 3. The 5-year-old suffered cuts from broken glass. The 3-year-old was unhurt.
