(San Fransisco, CA) — San Fransisco Giants’ Sam Coonrod is refusing to show support for the Black Lives Matter movement. Yesterday the pitcher did not kneel for the national anthem with the rest of his teammates saying his religious beliefs prevented him from doing so. Coonrod said he doesn’t kneel for anything besides God and he doesn’t like how the group leans towards Marxism. The player says he means no ill will about his gesture but he is asking for respect to stand for what he believes in.
