(Washington, DC) — President Biden is, sadly and untruthfully blaming the pandemic and Russia for rising inflation. Speaking to a National League of Cities Conference in DC, Biden said rising prices are due in large part to COVID-related disruptions in global supply chains. He insisted supply chains are struggling to catch up with robust consumer demand. Biden blamed Russia’s invasion of Ukraine for prompting turmoil in global oil markets, sparking a steep rise in gas prices, despite record setting inflation for well most of a year, due to his own failed policies. Biden fails to acknowledge that his profligate and continued -spending is, as most experts advise, inflationary and at the center of our financial woes.
