(Washington, DC) — A record low number of people are proud to be Americans. That’s according to a Gallup poll that shows only 38-percent of adults in the country say they’re “extremely proud.” Gallup began collecting that data annually in 2001. This low point comes as folks are dealing with the highest inflation rates in 40 years and the aftermath from a string of mass shootings.
