Alameda County Moving Forward with Coliseum Sale

The sale of the Oakland Coliseum is moving forward. The Alameda County Board of Supervisors voted Tuesday to move forward with the sale of its ownership stake in the Coliseum to the African American Sports and Entertainment Group. AASEG has already come to a sale agreement with the city of Oakland for its 50 percent share of the Coliseum. It’s unclear what will happen inside the Coliseum going forward now that the A’s have moved to West Sacramento for the next few seasons while their new stadium in Las Vegas is built.
