The frontrunner in next year’s race for California governor is facing blowback after video has surfaced of her screaming at a staffer. Former Congresswoman Katie Porter appeared to curse at a staff who interrupted a taped discussion with the Biden administration.
Politico’s reporting on the video comes a day after Porter was criticized for her fiery exchange with a reporter and threatening to end the interview. In a statement, Porter said she’s striving to do better by her staff.
According to Politico, “the staffer, whom POLITICO is not identifying out of privacy concerns and who was not the source of the video, declined to comment.”
