President Trump says he plans to send federal troops into more U.S. cities. Trump held a news conference Wednesday with FBI Director Kash Patel and promoted his recent troop deployments, and claimed thousands of violent criminals have been arrested. He also said his administration will be going into other cities to combat crime. Trump said, “We’re going to have a surge of strong, good people, patriots, and they’re going to go in” and, in his words “straighten it all out.” He said San Francisco was on his list for the next place to get federal troops, and called the city a mess.
