A U.S. Marshal and a suspect are wounded after a shooting in South Los Angeles. An illegal immigrant and a federal marshal were involved in a shooting incident in South Los Angeles. The shooting happened shortly before nine a.m. The U.S. Marshal was serving a warrant with ICE. The L.A. Times reports the U.S. Marshal was shot in the hand. The injuries to both people are not considered life-threatening. The LAPD confirms one person is in custody in connection with the shooting. The ATF is also assisting with the investigation.
