A would-be robber picked the wrong target in Los Angeles. On Wednesday afternoon in West Hollywood, an armed man jumped out of a car and demanded another man’s Rolex watch. That man is a retired professional boxer who quickly disarmed the robber and beat him to the ground. The boxer’s girlfriend, who was walking with him at the time, grabbed the gun and threw it over a fence while they waited for police to arrive. The gun was loaded. Police arrested the beaten man, but his accomplice in the car got away.
