A San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputy is dead after being shot by an alleged domestic violence suspect. Authorities say Deputy Andrew Nunez was shot once in the head as law enforcement responded to a domestic violence call in Rancho Cucamonga. He leaves behind a wife, a two-year-old daughter and his wife is also expecting the couple’s second child. The unidentified suspect fled the shooting on a motorcycle and was captured later after he was involved in a major crash on the 210 Freeway in Upland. That suspect is now in the hospital, and is expected to be booked on murder charges.
