Sheriffs deputies are forced to a kill a murder suspect early morning on March 25th when he opened fire on them. The man was wanted in the killing of a woman. Deputies found him just four blocks from the scene of the murder, near Vermont and Century around 1:30am, that’s when he fired on deputies.
Deputies returned fire, killing the suspect. Sheriff’s Lieutenant Victor Lewandowsky spoke to Fox11 News about investigation that followed. The intersection of Vermont and Century remained closed well into the morning as the investigation continued.
