Another Waymo incident is circulating around social media after a driverless cab was seen on video going through a police standoff in Los Angeles. The robotaxi made a left turn onto a street where a pickup truck was pulled over next to several police cars with flashing lights. Officers yelled for the vehicle to move. It slowly passed by and did not hit the suspect who was on the ground next to the pickup. A Waymo spokesperson says the vehicle cleared the scene and the passengers reached their destination safely. The company says they learn from unusual events like that one to improve performance.
