It’s crunch time for travelers trying to reach their destinations in time for Christmas. AAA says the roads and skies will be packed, but unlike Thanksgiving that was condensed into a short period of time, this holiday travel period is spread out over two weeks, so there will be ebbs and flows. The airports in Boston, New York, and Los Angeles are experiencing the heaviest delays today due to weather. Drivers in Southern California are being urged to stay off the roads if possible with a torrential rainstorm walloping the area.
#TravelTip: Are you flying somewhere for Christmas this week? We always recommend arriving at the airport early – about 2 hours for domestic flights and 3 hours prior for international travel. Don’t forget to set your alarm for early flights! pic.twitter.com/5DK9jvUTbx
