The chairman of the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games, is apologizing for his past ties to Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. The apology comes after newly released emails between him and Maxwell became public in the latest release of the Epstein files. In a statement Casey Wasserman said it was well documented claims that he traveled on Epstein’s plane in 2002 during a humanitarian trip as part of a delegation with the Clinton Foundation. Wasserman also said he “deeply regrets his correspondence with Maxwell. He ended with an apology saying he is “terribly sorry for having any association with either of them.”
