A doctor from California is being sued for allegedly prescribing abortion pills in Texas. The lawsuit was brought by a man from Texas who claims the doctor prescribed abortion pills taken by his sexual partner. Texas has a new law that says anyone can sue someone for manufacturing, distributing, mailing, or prescribing abortion pills into Texas, for a reward of at least 100-thousand dollars. The doctor is believed to be the first person sued under the new law.
