After weeks of dry, warm weather, California is preparing for a barrage of storms. From Redding to Los Angeles, the West Coast will see rain and snow, creating dangerous travel conditions and a high possibility of flooding. The Sierra is expected to get several feet of snow through Thursday, while multiple inches of rain will fall in southern California. Three different storm cells are expected to roll through the state, starting on Sunday. The second batch will roll into the Pacific Northwest by Monday night and a third round is expected Thursday focusing more on the southern half of the state.
