Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says there’s signs that Iran’s Supreme Leader “is no longer” alive. While addressing his country after joint strikes on Iran with the U.S., Netanyahu stopped short of explicitly saying Ali Khamenei was killed in the attacks. He then urged the Iranian people to “flood the streets and finish the job.”
The exiled crown prince of Iran, called the joint U.S.-Israeli attack on the country an act of “humanitarian intervention” by President Trump. Following the strikes, Reza Pahlavi urged Iranians to abandon the regime and called on security forces to defect. In a social media statement, Pahlavi wrote, “even with the arrival of this aid, the final victory will still be forged by our hands.” Pahlavi declared that the Islamic Republic is collapsing. He warned citizens to remain in their homes.
