The White House is pushing back against a report of Iran aspiring to attack California. On Wednesday, ABC News reported police departments have been warned about Iran planning a drone attack in California in retaliation for American attacks on Iranian soil. Today, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said “no such threat from Iran to our homeland exists, and it never did.” She also accuses ABC News of providing false information and says the story should immediately be retracted. The initial report said police departments in California were warned to be on alert for a possible attack as far back as early February.
