A concession area at Angel Stadium is shut down due to a rodent infestation. It follows a recent Orange County Public Health Services Retail Food Facility Inspection Report. Last Wednesday, a concession area at View Level 432 was closed after “rodent droppings” were discovered. During a routine inspection, vermin excrement was found in five different locations, including next to janitorial supplies and a water heater. Inspectors also found a hole in the ceiling that vermin could access. The concession stand’s permit to operate is suspended until all of the conditions are corrected. The Angels return to Angel Stadium for a six-game homestand starting Friday, when they host the New York Mets.
