Authorities investigating the death of pop superstar Prince at his Paisley Park Studios addressed the media on the early stages of the case.
Prince was found unresponsive in an elevator at this Paisley Park Studio and residence on Thursday. This morning an autopsy was performed and authorities announced it may be several weeks before the results are made public. In the meantime, the investigation continues.
“We’ll be talking to people that are close to him. We’ll be gathering some medical records and taking a look at those, between us and the medical examiners office, and working off of it from there.”
Sheriff Jim Olson of Carver County, Minnesota. Prince was found dead in by people close to him who had been trying to contact him and came to Paisley Park to check up on him.
