HOST BIO
McIntyre has been hosting the Cumulus Media Networks syndicated “Red Eye Radio,” on which the syndicator is replacing him with “Midnight Radio Network” hosts Gary McNamara and Eric Harley. The syndicated version of “Red Eye Radio” launched in early 2010; McIntyre hosted a local version for KABC until moving to mornings in 2004, leaving KABC in 2009 before launching the syndicated show. He also writes a column for Medianews’ Los Angeles Daily News.
KABC’s morning news anchor, Terri-Rae Elmer, started her broadcast career while studying at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, producing and co-hosting a news program on public radio. Terri-Rae is known for her infectious laugh, her instant recall of news events, and her delivery of the news with a little attitude.
A self proclaimed news junkie, she has won several Golden Mic Awards for best newscast, and several Mark Twain Awards from the Associated Press of California and Nevada for best newscast. T-Rae recently received a special commendation from the Southern California Chapter of the Multiple Sclerosis Society for raising awareness of MS through her annual bike ride.
