The Biden Administration faces a lawsuit from a conservative legal organization over records pertaining to the Federal Trade Commission’s investigation into Twitter, The Washington Examiner reports.
America First Legal, which is headed by multiple former members of the Trump administration, filed a lawsuit against the FTC after having filed a Freedom of Information Act request in March.
The organization is requesting records on the FTC’s probe into Twitter, which reportedly found that the social media network “may have jeopardized privacy and security” of its users, and information on the FTC’s investigation into the release of the “Twitter Files” around the same time.
