DirecTV’s cancellation of Newsmax’s contract is “clearly another Big Tech liberal, woke move,” but if it were a network with a “Marxist agenda,” it would have been allowed to remain on the air, Rep. Tim Burchett said on Newsmax Saturday. 

“If you are some draft dodger, they would put you at the top of the list,” the Tennessee Republican said on Newsmax’s “Wake Up America.” “They have a history of this. This is what goes on when these people are unchecked.”

Earlier this week, the satellite and streaming provider removed Newsmax from its channel lineups, triggering an angry response from conservatives, including former President Donald Trump, who have railed against the move.
