The new standard bearer of the Buick line has debuted at the LA Auto Show. The 2017 Buick LaCrosse is set to take its place as the top selling four-door from General Motors. Product Manager Brian Shipman described some of the changes.
“It’s a brand new car from the ground up. We’ve lengthened the car about an half an inch, we’ve lengthened the wheel base by almost three inches. You have much more interior space, beautiful styling, we’ve lowered the overall height by about two inches, swept back, very sporty with a brand new 3-point-6 litre V-6 powertrain.”
The new LaCrosse is also 300-pounds lighter than the previous model. Expect to see it at dealers by summer.
