Facebook Suppresses Legal Immigration Advocates, Activist Says

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has been suppressing the news and views of people against illegal immigration on  his social media platform. So says William Gheen, founder of Americans for Legal Immigration PAC.
“Mark Zuckerberg and Facebook are now reaching to take control of the political and media spheres of America. And they’re doing it in several different ways. A lot of our posts have been deleted or disallowed.”
Gheen maintains that Facebook is not honest about its biases and won’t acknowledge that it has taken actions to suppress conservative political views and groups.
“Facebook is abridging the American concepts of freedom of speech, freedom of press, freedom to assemble and doing it without people’s knowledge. And they are doing it in a way to conceal their bias. If everybody knew that Facebook was some socialist, left-wing, liberal operation, and they didn’t want to use it because it was that type of operation, and it was working against them and using every keystroke they typed into it to achieve their goals, well that would be fair game. But Facebook has not told people about this and in fact their leader Mark Zuckerberg is denying that any of it is true.”
Gheen says Facebook’s bias goes beyond benign neglect.
“Not only are they controlling the information flow but they’ve created a system – like if you decide that there’s a problem and you want people to assemble, and have an event or a protest to address that problem like illegal immigration, you’ll then come under violent threats and attack on Facebook and Facebook will protect those people that are attacking you.”
Top conservative commentators have gathered at Facebook’s headquarters to meet with Zuckerberg to talk about the biases they believe Facebook promotes.
Gheen was a guest on 790 KABC’s McIntyre in the Morning with Doug McIntyre and Terri Rae Elmer.
