Dr. Drew Pinsky partners with Lauren Sivan in hosting Dr. Drew Midday Live with Lauren Sivan on Talk Radio 790/KABC in Los Angeles and on KGO 810 in San Francisco. Dr. Drew isn’t just a celebrity doctor… he is the face and authority of medical views and advice in the media. The longtime syndicated late night host of Loveline gained major attention and celebrity after starring on his own VH1 show, Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew, and continued his successful television run with Dr. Drew on Call on HLN. His numerous television and film credits also include appearances on Family Guy, Wild Hogs, Dawson’s Creek, Robot Chicken and The Adam Corolla Project. A practicing doctor, father, author, addictionologist, and media catalyst (especially on social media), Dr. Drew is an M.D., Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Addiction Medicine, bringing his extensive medical and relationship experience to radio listeners in a show that focuses on the day’s hottest stories.
One of the most listened to doctors in America, Dr. Drew is the host of the nationally syndicated radio show “Loveline” where he has been taking calls from listeners since 1984. He is the host of “Dr.Drew” on HLN which he joined in December 2010. He will also host “Dr. Drew’s Lifechangers” on the CW in the fall of 2011.
KABC regular and LA TV veteran Lauren Sivan joins Dr. Drew Pinsky as co-host of “Dr. Drew Midday Live with Lauren Sivan”. Lauren brings her sharp news chops, sense of humor and ‘say what people are thinking’ style to growing audiences in Los Angeles on KABC and in San Francisco on KGO.
Sivan has made regular appearances on KABC Radio as fill-in co-host with Dr. Drew (in Middays) and John Phillips (in Afternoon Drive), and has anchored the news in Morning Drive on McIntyre in the Morning. She also hosted a “KABC Friday Night Special” in 2016. Sivan previously anchored the KTTV FOX 11 5 O’Clock News in Los Angeles, and reported for FOX 11 and for Good Day LA. A native New Yorker and a graduate of the George Washington University with degrees in Journalism and Political Science, Slivan began her broadcast news career in 2003 as morning anchor and reporter for WETM-18 News in Elmira, NY. Two years later she was hired in her hometown as evening anchor for News 12 Long Island and in 2008 she became the overnight, breaking news anchor for the FOX News Channel in New York City. She has reported for FOX News Channel shows including The FOX Report with Shepard Smith and On The Record with Greta Van Susteren, hosted The Strategy Room on Foxnews.com, and has been a regular panelist on the FOX News Channel’s late night show Red Eye. In addition, Sivan has covered entertainment news for Extra and TV Guide Network. Prior to her on-air career, she spent six years as a producer with the FOX News Channel, working on shows including Fox News Sunday and Fox & Friends
