Health Officials Are Making Changes To Who Should Be Tested For COVID-19
(Los Angeles, CA) — Los Angeles County health officials are changing their recommendation for who should get tested for COVID-19. Experts are now saying everyone needs to get tested for coronavirus after possible exposure from the state reopening and the Black Lives Matter protests. Tests should be prioritized to people who believe they have symptoms or were exposed to the virus according to L.A. mayor Eric Garcetti. Testing appointments are booked for the remainder of the week but the county is planning on opening eight more sites to help with the influx in testing.
