Cat Cloned, Is More Athletic
(Cedar Rapids, IA) — A woman is not ready to say goodbye to her cat, so she had him cloned. The Cedar Rapids woman, who wants to remain anonymous, says tissue samples were taken from Mr. Tufts and preserved. Doctors transferred the embryo into a surrogate cat, similar to an in vitro fertilization. Mr. Tufts Junior is now nine months old and is a lot more athletic than the original.
