Census Data Shows Most Millennials Moving To San Diego From Los Angeles, San Francisco
(San Diego, CA) — San Diego residents are noticing more and more young adults in the city and there’s a reason why. According to U.S. Census data, nine-point-two percent of all Millennials who moved to San Diego were from Los Angeles and about two-point-four percent came from the Bay Area. But one reason why there’s more young people in the city is because they never left. Around 70 percent of young adults who grew up in San Diego have stayed there. Of those who left, just over seven percent moved to Los Angeles and about two-percent moved to San Francisco.
