(Los Angeles, CA) — Los Angeles County is dropping a major mask requirement. Starting this Friday, residents will no longer be required to wear face coverings on mass transit. That also includes any transit hubs and airports. Overall, L-A will change its mask guidance. The county currently says face coverings are “strongly recommended”. Starting Friday, L-A county health officials will label mask wearing as an “individual preference”. COVID-19 cases are down significantly in L-A.
