(San Francisco, CA) — Recalled San Francisco district attorney is back at work across the bay. Former DA Chesa Boudin announced he is now the founding executive director of the new Criminal Law & Justice Center at the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law. In an email he describes the center as a research and advocacy hub that will focus on critical law and policy changes in the criminal justice system. San Francisco voters recalled the Progressive DA over fears he pushed criminal reform over the safety of residents. Brooke Jenkins was elected the new DA of San Francisco.
