Metro rolls out a new campaign aimed at ending unwanted and unlawful sexual behavior aboard busses and trains.

Unwanted sexual behavior is touching, exposure, verbal catcalls or harassing language.  And it’s against the law.  Metro officials and County Supervisors Mark Ridley-Thomas and Sheila Kuehl will debut a new campaign aimed at reigning in bad behavior aboard Metro at Union Station Thursday. Called “It’s Off Limits” the campaign will encourage victims and witnesses to report sexual harassment using a new hotline or a smartphone app.  A recent survey of over 22-thousand Metro riders found nearly a quarter of participants said they were victims of unwanted sexual behavior.
