Dr. Kelly Victory, a past Colorado Delegate, joins John Phillips from the Republican National Convention after anti-Trump forces get shut down on the convention floor.
“Today was the death nail for the #NeverTrump faction.” Says Victory.
The drama unfolded early on in the convention, as delegates walked out, and alternates were sought out.
Although Trump has enough delegates to win the nomination, there are many at the convention that are unhappy with Trump winning the primary.
An effort was put forth for a vote that would strike the rule that would make delegates bound by RNC rules. The RNC rules state that a delegate must vote for the presumptive nominees, and striking down the the rule would free them to vote openly.
“I was shocked at how many people said ‘nay,’ Victory says, “the room went nuts.”
